Street Pastors has been established in Newcastle since 2008. In that time we have trained over 100 volunteers to the benefit of the mission, their local Churches and the wider community. Street Pastors go onto the streets of Newcastle to do God’s work, directly helping people who are vulnerable and in need.

Tyneside Outdoors

Tyneside Outdoors (TO) is a youth and community work charity that works with people in disadvantaged areas of Tyneside to encourage their greater access to the outdoors.  Our aims are to increase people’s awareness of the outdoors, especially those living in disadvantaged areas, and to encourage their greater use of the outdoors for their health, recreation, education and enjoyment.

Newcastle Breastfeeding Support

In June 2010 HealthWORKS Newcastle took on the management and delivery of Newcastle Breastfeeding Peer Support Project on behalf of and in partnership with Sure Start and Public Health. We recruit and train peer supporters, coordinate breastfeeding support groups across the city and deliver good quality antenatal breastfeeding information and citywide events for awareness and health.
