Free baby clothes, toys, accessories for children 0-5 years. Tea and coffee and space to play
Martha & Mary's Community Cafe
Every day 10-2 - 212 Chillingham Rd
A warm and friendly community cafe, situated on Chillingham Road in the heart of Heaton which was setup and is run by volunteers. If you are interested in giving a couple of hours a week of your time to help us keep Martha & Mary’s open we’d love to have you as a part of the team. Check out the website for more details.

Anyone can become a member of Kingdom Life Community Grocery.
With a £5 annual membership, you can shop in the store multiple times a week.
Filling your basket for just £5 each time

Every 2 weeks (next one July 4) there is a community café style space where all are welcome. Come for friendship, support, a free coffee or all of the above!
Ladies Craft Group

Every Tuesday our ladies’ craft group meet, it’s a
great place to be creative, we have a variety of
resources from knitting to colouring, this group
is for all ladies creative or not. Want to learn a
new craft skills such as sewing or knitting our
ladies would love to teach you
Heaton Velos
Once a month cycling group
We organise a monthly ride on the last Saturday of the month. We have a fast and very slow group and we all meet together for coffee. The Very Slow group rides gently for about 5-10 miles. The Faster group rides further but we all meet together for for coffee at about 11am and we are back by about 12:30. The group organise lots of impromptu rides almost every Saturday through our whatsapp group.
